Legislative Partnerships

Miss America candidates and the Miss America Organization have made significant strides in areas such as education and legislative advocacy, proving that the role extends far beyond tradition and into spaces of meaningful impact. A modern Miss America must balance the influence of a public figure with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to grow the brand and create a lasting legacy. She must also have the ability to engage in bipartisan advocacy, working across the aisle to champion causes that improve the lives of all Americans.

Having been deeply involved in both Florida's and Washington, D.C.'s legislative processes, I’ve seen firsthand the power of collaboration and the influence of dedicated policymakers. Working alongside a lobbyist committed to advancing organ donation reform, I’ve witnessed how intentional legislative efforts can create real, tangible change for the health and well-being of Americans. Through my Social Impact Initiative, I have personally traveled to our nation's capital to advocate for national expansion and have spoken to over 400,000 individuals nationwide. Additionally, I partnered with Florida’s Department of Education to develop an organ donation curriculum, underscoring my commitment to education and systemic change. Miss America can—and should—be a dynamic leader, blending influence, entrepreneurship, and advocacy to create a legacy that transcends politics and inspires action.
