NON-PROFIT FOUNDER

Drawing inspiration from her personal connection as the daughter of a liver recipient, Casana has dedicated herself to educating and advocating for organ and tissue donation over the past decade. Her unwavering commitment began at the age of 14 when she established her non-profit, Give to Live, which has served as a platform for her to make a difference. As an ambassador for Donate Life Florida, she embarked on a remarkable journey across the state, speaking to over 100,000 individuals - from students, podcasts, civic organizations, DMV offices, corporations, and community members.

Beyond her extensive outreach efforts, Casana has collaborated closely with legislators and transplant organizations, actively participating in the lobbying process to champion legislation that positively impacts the transplant community. Her influential voice has been instrumental in shaping policies that foster better outcomes for those in need.

Casana's creativity and passion led her to write a children's book, "The Gift of Life," designed to enlighten young minds about the profound significance of organ donation. This educational resource is being utilized in every county of Florida, and by Organ Procurement Organizations nationally, to serve as a tool to ensure even young children can understand what it means to give the gift of life through organ donation.

At Miss Florida 2023, Casana was awarded the Women in Business Award, the Community Impact Award, and 1st-Runner up Social Impact Initiative Award, Talent winner, and First-runner-up. Due to the scholarships she earned throughout her participation in the Miss America and Miss America's Outstanding Teen Program, Casana graduated from the University of Florida debt-free, empowering her to pursue graduate studies.

Following graduation from the University of Florida, Casana moved to London, immersing herself in the world of fashion at CondΓ© Nast College of Fashion and Design. Upon her return to the United States, she honed her skills in New York City's fashion industry under the guidance of esteemed designer and Vogue editor, Tabitha Simmons. Fueled by her passion for entrepreneurship, Casana later established her own fashion e-commerce company, The Unverified. Casana's aspirations extend beyond her fashion venture as she has started a second business and is currently pursing her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
