MEET CASANA
Casana Fink, a Master of Business Administration student at the University of Florida, is a passionate advocate, accomplished author, and entrepreneur. Her advocacy began after her father’s life-saving organ transplant, inspiring her to establish Give to Live, a nonprofit dedicated to education, advocacy, and access in organ donation. Over the past decade, Casana has dedicated more than 3,000 hours to raising awareness, reaching over 400,000 individuals. As COO of More Transplants More Life, she has led six transformative programs, raised $50,000 in private funding, secured $225,000 in legislative support, lobbied for a $67 million dollar transplant bill, and developed a curricula on donation and prevention.
Casana authored The Gift of Life, a best-selling children’s book that introduces organ donation through engaging storytelling. Her book is in libraries and transplant centers nationwide, complemented by her partnerships with organizations like WubbaNub to provide comfort items to pediatric patients. Recognized as Donate Life Florida’s Volunteer of the Year in 2022 and a Pinnacle Award nominee, she has also spearheaded legislative efforts to protect and incentivize living donors and improve transplant policies at both state and national levels.
In addition to her advocacy, Casana is a thriving entrepreneur. She launched The Unverified, her own clothing brand, after studying fashion in London and working with industry icons in New York. She also owns another business specializing in LED Christmas trees. As Miss America, Casana’s mission is to empower families navigating the transplant journey and lead the charge toward a preventative healthcare model, ensuring no family faces these challenges alone.
